What is Easysoft Data Access for ISAM and how does it work?

EDA for ISAM provides ODBC access to legacy ISAM files on Windows and UNIX platforms. EDA for ISAM has three components:

1. The Easysoft ODBC-ODBC Bridge provides the connection between client machine and server where the ISAM files are located.
2. The Easysoft ODBC-SQI SQL Engine parses and refines queries, utilising the native ISAM indexes to speed up files access.
3. The Easysoft SQI-ISAM Driver handles file access to the ISAM files, reading the file definitions from the Easysoft schema file set.
