Easysoft JDBC-ODBC Bridge

Do I have to update the EJOB.jar client if I've upgraded to the latest version of the Easysoft JDBC-ODBC Bridge?

Yes. It is always best to run the same version of the client as the server. Incompatibilities between versions can cause problems. The EJOB.jar file can be found in the following directories:

C:\Program Files\Easysoft\Easysoft JDBC-ODBC Bridge\jars

(Windows)

/usr/local/easysoft/job/jars

(Unix distributions)

You can also download the matching version of the EJOB.jar from the built in web server of your running JOB Server.

Use an URL of the form:

http://<your machine>:8031/jars/EJOB.jar

Remember to remove the EJOB.jar from all locations on your client machine as different applications load the driver from different places and replacing it in the classpath may not remove all instances.
