EDA for ISAM is a solution offered by Easysoft Ltd that allows ODBC access to legacy ISAM files on Windows and UNIX platforms from ODBC compliant applications. The Solution is made up of three Easysoft products that go to make up the solution. The Easysoft ODBC-ODBC Bridge provides connection between the client machine and the server. The Easysoft ODBC-SQI SQL Engine parses and refines queries utilising the native ISAM indexes to speed up files access. The Easysoft SQI-ISAM driver handles file access to the ISAM files themselves reading the file definitions from the Easysoft schema file set. Coupled with graphical administration the solution provides seamless access to you ISAM files.
