Why does my database connection go stale?

Your connection has probably timed out. The default value for timeout of inactive threads in the server is set to 7200 seconds. You can change this using the Easysoft JDBC-ODBC Bridge Server Administrator, or directly in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Easysoft JDBC-ODBC Bridge\Configuration\System\settings\Timeout
