Easysoft JDBC-ODBC Bridge

Why does the Easysoft JDBC-ODBC Bridge include a Web server?

Java applets can only make network connections back to the machine they were loaded from. For a JDBC-ODBC Bridge-enabled applet to run, the code must be downloaded from the machine where the server is listening. Including a web server with the Easysoft JDBC-ODBC Bridge server guarantees that the JDBC-ODBC Bridge will run out-of-the-box.
