Programmer (Multiple Vacancies)Easysoft are looking for experienced programmers to work on a variety of projects, which include: - Development of new database middleware products.
- Maintenance of existing products.
- Web development.
- Other exciting products utilising PL/SQL, Perl, Flex, the HTTP protocol and JSON.
The ideal candidates will have 5 or more of the following: - A proven record of development in C or C++.
- A proven record of development in Java.
- Experience of writing code to communicate with databases, with knowledge of ODBC, JDBC or a database-specific API an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Perl or a scripting language such as bash.
- Development experience with Flex/ActionScript programs.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server database.
- Good knowledge of the Oracle database.
- Good SQL knowledge.
- A sound understanding of product development in Unix using make and version control systems (e.g., Subversion, Git).
- Sound knowledge of network programming and protocols such as HTTP.
All of the following will be treated favourably: - Contributions to Open Source projects.
- A proven track record on sites like PerlMonks, Stack Overflow etc.

Marketing AnalystEasysoft are looking for a creative, technically-savvy marketing person to plan and manage the delivery of a successful marketing strategy. Job Description: - Manage PPC and SEO activity.
- Manage our involvement in partner programs, looking after our membership and promoting our software in partner catalogues.
- The promotion of the Easysoft web site (and other domains).
- Coordinating PR strategies to organise press releases, product reviews, media interviews and customer case studies.
- Developing a consistent brand image, coordinating the design and production of marketing collateral including product brochures, newsletters, adverts, presentations and promotional products.
- Compiling market research on customer and competitor trends.
- Coordinating lead generation activities (web site registrations, mailshots, telemarketing, data procurement).
- Producing copy and images for the Company’s websites, to increase rankings and drive visitors with relevant online messages.
- Writing technical copy, opinion articles, whitepapers and news stories for website, press releases, IT press and brochures.
You will also be expected to produce regular reports, demonstrating the return on investment of various marketing activities and manage budgets. Skills & experience required: - A good understanding of online/web-based marketing, SEO & PPC, in particular Google Adwords, Analytics and Webmaster tools.
- Experience of a similar/related market with an IT company.
- Ability to understand technical concepts.
- Must be able to work on your own but have good communication skills.
